You do not need to be a professional athlete, an ex-competitive cheerleader, or a high school phenom to be a coach. Some of our best coaches have some personal experiences playing sports. Here are the core characteristics of coaches:

The above list captures the components of great coaches who have the ability to make a positive impact on student athletes. *NO coach of any professional cheer organization or instructional facility can be a Head Coach, Assistant Coach or Instructor with any SAC association between the dates of an organization’s try-outs to the last game of the season or TOC, whichever is later. A cheer professional is defined as someone who is paid to instruct tumbling or cheer technique for a professional cheer organization.
