Mission
It is the mission football and cheerleading to develop student
athletes of excellence in football, cheer, academics and in life;
through faith, prayer, hard work, and being intentional about our
relationship with Jesus Christ and each other.
Vision
To utilize football and cheerleading as a vehicle to teach life lessons and to develop athletes to become the best version of themselves.
Jr. Football & Cheerleading
Most successful high school football and cheerleading programs have a thriving youth/jr. feeder program. Our youngest athletes are able to learn our culture and character through practices/competition. Though our youth/jr. programs are successful, our priority is not just about winning on the field, but more importantly how to win off the field by becoming honorable citizens with a Christ-centered foundation.
In order to maximize the energy and effort of every family, and to ensure that a student athlete loves their experience, we use a systematic approach to teach life lessons. Accountability is key for parents, athletes, coaches, and volunteers and share in the importance at every level.
Our approach is simple:
By utilizing Christian principles, some of the ideas of top practitioners of sports performance, coaching communication, and volunteer empowerment, a Saturday with our youth is a vibrant and encouraging atmosphere.
Our youth football and cheerleading teams are proud members of the Sierra Athletic Conference (SAC). This league consists of some of the most competitive youth teams in the Sacramento Valley.
Our youth student athletes represent an array of neighborhoods from the greater Sacramento area without boundaries/geographic limitations.
Student athletes do not have to attend Capital Christian School to participate in our programs.
